Minobu (身延町 Minobu-chō ) is a town located in Minamikoma District, Yamanashi, Japan.
As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 7,672 and a density of 58.51 persons per km². The total area was 131.12 km².
On September 13, 2004 Minobu absorbed the towns of Nakatomi, also from Minamikoma District, and Shimobe, from Nishiyatsushiro District, forming a larger town also called "Minobu".
As of July 31, 2004 the estimated total population of the three towns that merged is 17,277, with a total area of 304.83 km².
